🚌 Bus services in Eastern Green are not very well connected and could be improved. The 14 runs up to every 30mins along Upper Eastern Green Lane with poorly timed connections at Tile Hill Rail Station and Warwick Uni.
🚌 The 6A runs every 20-30mins along Broad Lane during the daytime and then every 60mins during the evening (and on Sundays).
🚌 There is no service from Pickford Green while the 6A serves Sainsbury’s but the 14 doesn’t (however does serve Cannon Park).
🚌 Thousands of new homes are being built in Eastern Green and Pickford Green with many residents already moving in.
🚌 We think the 6A should be rerouted to Pickford Green via Earlsdon, Tile Hill and Eastern Green. The 6 could also be extended to Bannerbrook Park via Tanyard Farm which is currently served by the 6A.
🚌 We would also like to see the 14 extended to University Hospital (Walsgrave) via the city centre with more frequent daytime services.
