Council Spends £12.5k on Citivision Magazine

The council’s Communications Team have published a special edition of the Citivision magazine focused on “Covid-19 information”.

However, the magazine has previously been criticised for being politically biased and wasting taxpayers’ money. The council also said future copies would only be available online.

We sent a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the council to find out how much it cost.

How many copies printed?

The council printed 134,000 copies of the magazine.

How much did printing cost?

The council spent £5,360 printing the magazine.

How much did delivery cost?

The council spent £7,134.51 delivering the magazine to 133,281 households in the city.
