Coventry saw a huge increase in fly-tipping during lockdown earlier this year. Fly-tipping has also been increasing year-on-year since 2015/16.
Fly-tipping is a persistent problem in certain parts of the city. This includes a footpath alongside the canal in Foleshill.
We reported a load of rubbish to the council in April but much of it still hasn’t been removed. We’ve been taking photos to highlight the issue:

Residents have also put down bits of carpet to walk over when it gets too muddy. This is because the footpath needs resurfacing:
