Coventry Conservatives keep talking about Coombe Abbey Hotel like they want it to fail just so they can gloat about it.
Interestingly, the Conservatives have nothing to say about how much the council borrowed to buy the former IKEA building while wasting half a million every year to keep the old sports centre empty.
Over 800 people signed our petition to turn the Elephant building into a new arts and exhibition centre but the council decided to buy the IKEA building instead.
It seems the focus has been shifted away from the real scandal. The Elephant in the room couldn’t be more obvious but city councillors continue to ignore it.
